Barge Group meet The Mayor of the London Borough of Bexley ...
On Monday 23rd July, Barge Group had the pleasure of welcoming The Mayor and Mayoress of the London Borough of Bexley to the Barge Group headquarters.
Lee Barge (MD) and Mr Mayor spoke passionately about Bexley and how it is a fantastic place in which to do business. Lee shared the history of the business, starting out as sole trader and how it has evolved into the successful award winning business it is today.
Having been introduced to members of the team behind Barge Group, Mr Mayor also showed a keen interest in the fleet of modern machinery that provides the fast turn around times and reliable service that Barge Group's reputation is built upon.
The morning concluded with Lee receiving the SME Excellence Award from Bexley Business Awards by The Mayor of the London Borough of Bexley. Mr Mayor explained this was a huge achievement and to pass his sincerest congratulations to every member of the Barge Group team.
